Explore. Immerse. Empower.
“We practice simply because it is our nature to do so.”-Patrick Beach
Awakening Yoga is a progressive Yoga system rooted in Hatha Vinyasa with an emphasis on ritual & self-inquiry. Taught by her teachers, Patrick Beach and Carling Harps, Angelique is excited to bring this powerful and grounding practice to Breathe!
To fully immerse oneself in the practice we need time. Time to be more attentive, permission to be more present and courage to move with what is.
This unique master class is a 2-hour immersion offering students an opportunity to deepen their practice and transform the way they move on their mats. By focusing on functional movement, individualized alignment and breath each student is encouraged to explore their range and to find greater freedom and ease of movement.
Awakening Yoga is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Expect a sweaty Panther Yoga experience with lots of modifications to either tone it down or level it up!
Space is very limited. Students are encouraged to bring blocks but class will be adjusted accordingly if you do not have them.
Join Lacey Smith, RYT500 and Matthew Ward, R. Ac. for this 2-hour workshop to explore the power of combining Yin and Acupuncture.
The benefits of integrating yin yoga with acupuncture are:
• Decreases stress
• Increases mobility in the ligaments, joints, connective tissues and vital organs
• Reduces inflammation and pain
• Stimulates the lymphatic system
• Increases immunity
• Improves digestion
• Builds bone density
The workshop will start with Lacey leading you through a Yin Yoga class, followed by a resting period where Matthew will apply Acupuncture needles to support the vital organs and lastly a long savasana to restore balance. Students can expect to end this workshop feeling a strong sense of ease, balance and vitality.
*Each student will receive a receipt from a licensed Acupuncturist which is eligible for submission to group insurance.

Join Amanda and Hilary for this 2-hour workshop where you will enjoy long and juicy Yin postures, held for 3-5 minutes, combined with hands-on massage therapy techniques from a 2200hr Registered Massage Therapist. The unique combination of Yin and Massage fosters maximum relaxation and restorative stimulation of the muscular skeletal connective tissue.
Through the series of Yin postures, you will have the opportunity to soften, release and create space for deeper breath and a quieter mind.
Using the space of the warm studio Amanda will begin with guided breath work and intention setting.
Hilary will use this time to familiarize her therapeutic touch with each student. This process creates a meditative atmosphere to foster relaxation, quiet self-reflection, self-compassion and prepares the body to open and release tension during Yin postures.
Supportive Yin props and therapeutic-grade essential oils will be incorporated to enhance your practice, allowing you to release layers of tension, heighten your experience and expand your state of relaxation and bliss.
*Space is very limited to allow Hilary to provide one-on-one healing touch within the timeframe of the workshop.
*Register for this workshop and receive a 10% discount on your next 60 minute massage with Hilary.
*Invoices will include Hilary’s registered massage number which is eligible for submission depending on your group insurance policy.
Maybe you’re tired of hearing, “Make sure you take care of yourself too" or maybe you just don't know exactly what that looks like yet. Whether you’re looking after the needs of an aging parent, a loved one going through cancer, or a child struggling from a mental illness, the list can go on and on… there is one commonality - Caregivers give a lot of themselves, and often their tank runs empty at some point. Kelly specializes in equipping Caregivers with tools and a comprehensive strategy to avoid burnout so that they can continue to be a rock for their loved ones.
Being a Caregiver is an honourable role that can be so heart warming, as long as your own needs are being tended to as well; however, this is often easier said than done. We will focus on: Relieving anxiety, tension and doubt Connecting with your own body’s needs (mental, physical and emotional) Finding that inner source of empowerment
Experiencing compassion in a new light Please bring a notebook, pen, yoga mat, and an open mind.
*All registered programs are non-refundable and credits will not be issued for missed classes. A minimum number of registrants is required to run these programs. If program is cancelled due lack of registrations, a full refund will be provided.
