Dear Breathe Yogis,
We have missed you! We are beyond thrilled that we are finally ready to open our doors and create that sense of community with you once again. Breathe takes the health and safety of our clients and staff very seriously so we have been working hard to ensure we have the right plan in place to support a safe and successful re-opening.
Yoga will be back on Thursday, June 10th. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN through the Breathe App, the Mindbody App or your Mindbody account. Please keep in mind that you can only book up to 3 days in advance.
We are doing our very best to create a place of peace and serenity, but we need your help to make sure everything goes smoothly.
The plan below outlines our standards of health and safety, as well as new procedures and policies that you need to know before you come see us.
It’s a lot of information, so know that we are here to help. Reach out to us at info@breathehotyoga.ca any time and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We know there may be glitches in our plans. Please be patient with us, as we will be with you. We support you and your practice. Remember that these current protocols are not forever. As time goes on, and as we add more classes and loosen a few more restrictions we will keep you informed.
With love and gratitude,
The Breathe Team
Our schedule has changed, please be mindful of class start times. Preregistration is required on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up now!
You'll need to prepay in order to register for a spot. Purchase a class pass or a membership below.
View class updates here. We are still offering a range of different classes suitable for all practitioners.
Health screening for guests, teachers and team members is required. Only those who meet requirements and follow mandatory safety guidelines are permitted. If you show any signs of illness while present in the studio (for example, coughing) or you do not follow our safety protocols, we will ask you to leave.
Capacities have been reduced to give the required 6 feet space in between each mat. Markers identify where to place your mat. We’re offering select styles as part of this first phase. Focused programming allows more time in between classes for increased cleaning.
We will be offering warm yoga only until the government restrictions are lifted. This is the only way we can reopen to offer yoga services at this time. We understand our students come for hot yoga, but we are unable to offer it due to the physical distancing regulations of 10 feet between students. By reducing the heat to bring back yoga sooner, we felt that it was a fair compromise. We promise to do our best so that you leave the studios feeling all the same benefits as you did before. On the bright side... it's summer and this will also help students ease back in after being away for so long.
High touch areas are regularly and thoroughly cleaned using a hospital grade disinfectant that is known to kill viruses. Classroom floors and high touch areas like switches and handles will be disinfected after each class. Team members will wear gloves when cleaning. Doors will be locked between classes to clean and sanitize.
We will turn on the air exchange between classes to ensure we have the cleanest air possible for you while you BREATHE.
Plexiglass barriers will be installed around the sign in station. We’re also providing gloves and face masks for team members. Teams have been provided with additional health, safety and personal hygiene training prior to working in the studio.
No props will be available and programming will be offered with this in mind.
Change room and showers will be open. Water fountains and lockers remain closed. Please only bring the necessities with you when you come (mat, towel, filled water bottle, keys). You will be able to take your keys in to the studio with you but NO PHONES. Tea service, mat and towel rentals, as well as lemongrass towels are temporarily discontinued.
All passes are active. If you would like to book a class and it's not allowing you to, please email info@breathehotyoga.ca and we will get it sorted out for you as soon as possible.
Please use the Self Assessment before you come to the studio.
Masks are mandatory in the building. You are NOT required to wear a mask while you are on your mat and during your practice, but you must wear a mask entering the building and into the studios.
Please put your mask on before entering the studio and until you are on your mat, where you can remove it for your practice. Put your mask back on after class to exit or until you get in the shower and replace once out of the shower to leave the building.
Take your belongings with you to the shower area so that you can dispose of your mask in your bag and DO NOT hang the masks on the hooks outside of the shower.
We will have masks for purchase at the front desk if you do not have one. If you are needing to purchase one and enter without a mask, please continue to follow physical distancing markers and stay behind the front desk plexiglass until you have your mask on.
As we are offering limited spots for booking, we now require guests to cancel reservations they cannot attend more than 4 hours before the start of class. If you do not cancel your reservation, you will be subject to a $15 fee.
If you sign up for a class and can't make it you have up to 4 hours before the class to cancel without incurring a late payment fee.
If you don't show up to the class, you will receive a class deduction from your single, 5, 10 or 20 class pass. If you are on an Easy Pay or unlimited membership, you will be charged a $15 Late Cancellation Fee or you may end up with a negative balance* on your account and your online booking privileges will be restricted.
*We will now be tracking negative balances closely. If you are on an Easy Pay or unlimited membership and had a late cancel or no show and we were unable to charge your credit card on file, this charge will show as a negative balance on your account AND YOUR ONLINE BOOKING PRIVILEGES WILL BE RESTRICTED until you reconcile this charge in-studio with debit/credit card or via phone (with valid credit card).
You must preregister for class online. Booking opens 3 days prior and are first-come, first-served. If it's outside of the 4-hour cancellation window and you're next on the waitlist, you'll be added to the class automatically if someone cancels. One you're added, our cancellation policy applies. Please check your Mindbody account and make sure that you have checked off the box 'reminders and schedule changes' under your contact information to ensure you get the notifications.
If you've never taken a class at Breathe, or you are returning since re-opening our doors, make sure you come prepared. Download and sign our new waiver and bring it to you first class.
